Hedgerow Series - Long Tailed Tits.
Collagraph and monoprint
108 cm x 54 cm
This artwork is sold unmounted and unframed and is now in my art sale!
In the winter months it is a treat to see flocks of Long Tailed Tits. These tiny fluffy-balls of pink, black and white feathers and out of proportion long tails are constantly in and out of my hedgerow swooping down to feed on the fat balls.
One of the best things you can do to help birds is provide them with food and water. A bird bath, or even a shallow dish among the flowers or on a shed roof will allow them to drink and clean their feathers.
These social and chirpy birds are found all over from garden to park, to town to farmland and are the smallest bird in Europe! They look slightly bigger than what they actually are, thanks to that long-tail they carry.
