Zinnias are one of the easiest flowers you can grow and their bright colours draw pollinators into the garden. Monarch butterflies, in particular, love Zinnias and pollinate them whilst using them for food and an egg-laying habitat. Honeybees also benefit from Zinnia pollen and nectar.

Single-flowered Dahlias with their bright open saucer flowers, in gorgeous shades of yellow and pink, are great for pollinating insects.

Rudbeckias (often called Black-eyed Susan) with their dark centres surrounded by broad-rayed, golden- yellow daisies, provides nectar and pollen for bees and many other types of pollinating insects.

Sunflowers are easy to grow. There are many sizes and colours to choose from, including creams, lemons, golds and reds, as well as bi-colour varieties, and many are brilliant for bees, birds and other wildlife.
