This joyful piece of Bullfinch art adds a bit of colour and fun to my collection of works. This male Bullfinch is perched on a Cherry Tree with a nod to Mr. Cuthburt’s guide to growing fruit trees and of course his non GM seeds. Bullfinches love to eat the buds of various trees in spring and were once considered a 'pest' of fruit crops.

The Bullfinch falls under the UK conservation status of amber and is protected by the Wildlife and Countryside act of 1981.
